The cup cake in the microwave is really cool, I had seen and reviewed it on my facebook group but I had never tried it, then last Saturday I was at my parents' house and I had not prepared any dessert, I had just finished washing the dishes and I didn't want to dirty everything again so I remembered this recipe. The cake in a cup is a single-portion dessert that is cooked in the microwave, I took the recipe from the fb group and I got to work, the cake turned out to be good but a little spongy so I started looking for another recipe and I tried this other one, in 4 minutes I had a really good cake, which if accompanied by whipped cream or stuffed with a bit of Nutella becomes even more delicious. If you want to prepare a very fast and single-portion dessert and you have a microwave, the cake in a cup is really ideal to try and believe. Happy Saturday to those who pass by here;)


How to make a cup cake

Grease a cup, preferably a mug and pour all the ingredients into it

Stir vigorously with a spoon

Microwave for 3 minutes at 800 watts

flour, 130 gr.
sugar, 170 gr.
water, 1 dl.
bitter cocoa, 20 gr.
chopped shelled almonds, to taste
jam, 2 tbsp
powdered sugar, 1 sachet
yeast, 1 tsp
vanillin, 1 sachet
Doses: 2

Work the eggs with the sugar.
Add the butter.
Pour in the water.
Incorporate cocoa, flour, yeast and vanilla.
Mix everything well.
Line a microwave-safe cake pan with parchment paper.
Spread the mixture on it.
Cook for 6 min. approximately at maximum power.
Veiled with powdered sugar.
Garnish with drops of jam and chopped almonds.

Margherita cake
eggs, 3
lemon, 1/2
flour, 100 gr.
sugar, 60 gr.
butter, 50 gr.
starch, 50 gr.
yeast, 2 tsp
Doses: 2

Soften the butter by passing it in the microwave for 1 min. approximately.
Marry him in a bowl.
Work it with sugar.
Add the yolks.
Work and snow the egg whites.
Thicken them in the egg, butter and sugar mixture.
Incorporate the grated lemon peel, without the white part.
Pour the flour a little at the sprint.

To prepare the yogurt cake in the microwave, start by whipping the eggs and sugar until the mixture is soft and fluffy. Keep stirring and add the sifted flour and vanilla.

Melt the butter and add the Galbani Whole Yogurt. Put the mixture in a pan and add the dark chocolate into small pieces. Make sure that there are even bigger pieces of chocolate.

As an alternative to orange juice, you can use: citrus fruit juice, milk, other fruit juice to taste.
Instead of lemon peel, it is possible to flavor the dessert with orange peel or with vanilla (powder or seeds).
To serve, you can sprinkle the cake with simple icing sugar or with sugar icing, preferably flavored with lemon or limoncello.

Here is another cake recipe, suitable for breakfast, to cook in the microwave. It is very fast to prepare, it takes just under half an hour to prepare it, cook it and take it out of the oven then it is a light dessert even if it tends to remain a little drier than other microwave cakes.

Ingredients for the crisp pan (diam. 19 cm):
- 200g ricotta
- 140gr flour
- 40gr starch
- 100g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 sachet of yeast (= 8 gr)

Put the eggs and sugar in a bowl with high sides and work them well with a whisk (I use the blender at low speed), then add the flour (previously mixed with the baking powder and other ingredients) and mix the whole.
Grease and flour the pan, pour in the mixture and level it, place in the microwave and cook for 7 minutes with the crisp function.

When it has cooled, sprinkle it with icing sugar because the surface remains very "anemic".

IMPORTANT: the cooking times indicated above refer to the 26 liter capacity Whirlpool Talent MT52 microwave oven and are purely indicative as they may vary from oven to oven and also depend on the quantities used.
