RECIPE PREPARATION Wafer sheets with nougat cream:
The sugar is caramelized over low heat. When it turns golden, add the butter and walnuts. Mix well, then add the yolks immediately and mix a little more. Remove from the heat, and when it has cooled a little, add the beaten egg whites. Fill the wafer sheets, and place a weight on top of them. Cut the next day.
Double the amount if you want to make the whole package of wafers.
